MTM R8 V10 Biturbo and TTRS Clubsport

MTM will present two new cars at Geneva Motor Show this year, a tuned Audi R8 V10 and TTRS Clubsport. MTM are offering a twin-turbo conversion for the R8 V10 that raises output to 777hp. The R8 includes a chrome finish which may seem garish to many.

The R8 twin-turbo now reaches a top speed of 350km/h, 0-100km/h in 3.0 seconds, 200km/h in 9.37 and 300km/h in 19.42 seconds.
The engine comes from the RS6 Biturbo previously presented by MTM. That car achieved a top speed of 362.5km/h at Nardo.

A coilover kit has been added to the car alongside 20 inch forged rims in the MTM Bimoto design. MTM brakes measuring 380×34mm with eight-piston calipers at the front and rear axle finish the handling tweaks.

The R8 paint has been removed and polished, the result of over 700 working hours. Styling changes include carbon parts, an adjustable rear spoiler and front lip and leather interior.

Alongside the R8 V10 Biturbo, MTM will also display their TTRS Clubsport. The TTRS upgrade produces an extra 48hp to raise total output to 472hp at 7,000rpm. Torque is fixed at 600Nm from 4,400rpm. This gives the Clubsport a 0-100km/h (62mph) time of 3.9 seconds and a top speed of 312km/h.

As with the R8, MTM have added their brake kit featuring 380×34mm, eight-piston calipers and usual 20 inch MTM Bimoto design alloy wheels.

It will be interesting to see how these cars are received at Geneva next week!
