Performance enhancement R-Tronic by ronotec

A veteran of the tuning scene is back with ronotec. Rolf Nothelle founded his first company in 1967 and already then focused on automobile tuning and shot to fame in racing. Like in former times, Rolf Nothelle now also specialises on refining Audi automobiles and VW-Group brands with ronotec.

“Accelerating“ Audi- and VW-models has a long tradition with Rolf Nothelle since the 1960s. Back then, Rolf Nothelle became famous for his blazing red coloured race cars which regularly crossed the finishing line as winners. The race cars he built achieved many national and international titles.

In the tuning trade, the name Rolf Nothelle parallelly matured to an epitome of quality and individuality. With ronotec, Rolf Nothelle continues to live up to his name. At the moment, the most important new development from ronotec is an external “Powerbox“ called R-Tronic. It is an innovative performance enhancement for the latest generations of TFSI direct fuel injection- and TDI diesel engines. The ronotec R-Tronic regulates the turbocharger pressure. A novelty in this sector, as until recently that could not be accomplished with an additional control box.

The R-Tronic by ronotec can be fitted within a few minutes and provides a performance enhancement of 20-30 %, depending on the car model. ronotec gives a 3-year warranty and provides a certificate of the German Technical Control Board (TÜV) for most models.

As for the aerodynamics- and tuning programme, ronotec concentrates on the Audi models Q7, A6 und TT apart from R-Tronic. At present, ronotec prepares an extensive aerodynamics kit for the SUV Audi Q5.
