Milltek Gears Up For Goodwood Festival Of Speed 2016

Respected exhaust manufacturer Milltek has an impressive array of all-new, British-made products to showcase at this year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed. The company will be exhibiting there for the fifth time between the 23rd – 26th June on stand 34.

Goodwood is all about beautiful cars of course, so Milltek has upped its show ante this year, bringing its latest demonstrator models to display at the world’s greatest automotive garden party. Expect to see the company’s truly sorted Honda Civic Type R and 750bhp supercharged Ford Mustang gracing the stand – the latter being one of the most modified examples in the UK.

The last 12 months have been stellar times for enthusiasts of muscle cars, performance saloons and hot hatches, so in addition to the two above iconic motors, Milltek will also be unveiling its hotly anticipated Ford Focus RS system at the show, as well as a raft of superbly engineered upgrades for the latest VW, Audi and BMW models that the firm has created since its last appearance at Goodwood! In fact, Milltek has double figure’s worth of all-new products for show-goers to admire during the four days of the festival.

Classics are a now an important part of Milltek’s product line up, with this group of owners now a hugely important customer base for the Derbyshire firm. To this end, the company has brought its modern production techniques and material choice to the sector with the ‘Milltek Classic’ range. Aimed squarely at the discerning collector and enthusiast, this range offers a high-quality, modern take on some of the ’70s and ‘80s most iconic classics, including the VW Mk2 Golf GTI and Corrado, E36 BMW M3, Peugeot 205 GTi and Audi UR Quattro. In-keeping with the Festival of Speed’s motorsport inspired ethos, Milltek will also have its extensive range of fully FIA-approved HJS sports catalysts at the show, which offer full blue-book legality and eligibility where appropriate. A motorsport essential, these components have been proven in all almost every genre of top-level competition. Talking of which, Milltek’s two race ace ambassadors – GT World Champion Tom Onslow-Cole and Tin-Top star Lucas Orrock will also be on the stand throughout the event to meet fans and sign autographs – Lucas on the Friday and Saturday, and Tom on the Sunday. An additional innovation on the Milltek stand will be the latest generation ‘ValveSonic’ system for selected BMW and Audi models. Milltek’s latest version of this ingenious OEM-quality switching system is now housed in a compact unit that can be easily fitted in conjunction with any of its appropriate systems.
