Liberty Walk, the Japanese tuning firm best known for its distinct rivet flare style body kits, appears to be turning some attention toward the Audi marque. Last year, prior to SEMA 2015, the first Liberty Walk Audi R8 was revealed and it looked absolutely insane.

Liberty Walk is known for creating insane body kits for exotic vehicles and these include the Ferrari 458, the Lamborghini Aventador, the Lamborghini Huracan, the Nissan GT-R and others. The newest model to receive such an upgrade is the Audi R8.

We’re not exactly surprised to see the Liberty Walk kit making its way onto an R8 and that’s because the Japanese tuner’s popularity has been on the rise over the last few years. After the first show car at SEMA, other projects have appeared on the web and in auto shows.

The Liberty Walk Audi R8 bodykit consists of of flared front and rear wheel arches with exposed screws, extended side skirts, a bespoke front splitter, new carbon fibre rear diffuser and a prominent rear ducktail spoiler.

Some of the show cars also are equipped with an air suspension from AirRex and also Armytrix exhaust systems. Of course a widebody kit needs exceptionally wide wheels to a complete upgrade.
