Forge Charge Cooler Radiator and Expansion Tank Kit for Audi B8 S4/S5

Tuning specialist Forge Motorsport has released a stunningly comprehensive cooling upgrade kit for supercharged Audi S4 B8 and S5 B8 3.0 litre model. Following extensive testing, the firm has developed an uprated Charge Cooler Radiator and Expansion Tank kit to provide exceptional cooling improvements for both tuned and standard versions of these cars.

In fact, to be precise, Forge has actually created four variations of chargecooler for the S4 B8 and S5 B8 chassis, so no matter if you have one or two chargecooler radiators as standard, or if your car is fitted with the ADS (Audi Dynamic Steering) option, the Forge team has it covered.

This FMCCRAD3 kit shown is for the S4 and S5 with a single factory chargecooler and a factory ADS cooler, and it’s highly recommended for either those in warm climates who wish to maintain performance, or specifically for tuned engines where the boost has been increased from standard on the Eaton Supercharger using software re-calibration, a reduction pulley or a combination of both.

To maximise the cooling efficiency Forge has used an alloy fast thermal transfer radiator core which measures up at 640 x 440 x 42mm. This has proven very effective in both keeping chargecooler temperatures lower but also reducing the recovery times in “heat soaked” situations.

Lowering engine temperatures won’t just lower your blood pressure, of course, but it will also increase the longevity of engine components and extract maximum efficiency from the powerplant. All in all, a very sensible investment for your Audi.
