Exhaust technology for Audi from Cargraphic
Cargraphic from Landau enjoys an excellent reputation as a car tuner and component developer for motorsports. The German company has won plenty of recognition, particularly regarding the construction and building of stainless steel exhaust systems. In order to meet its own quality demands, since 1996 the customiser has been running an exhaust system factory in the south-west of England, where third-party orders can also be processed at the highest standards.
Cargraphic will be presenting this range of services, which is tailor-made for small batches, prototypes and special productions, for the first time to a larger public from 14th to 19th September at the automechanika in Frankfurt. It will be present at the trade fair at the joint stand of the German tuning association VDAT in hall 4.
At the production site of Cargraphic in Devon exhaust systems made of stainless steel, which are no longer just for sports or racing cars, are manufactured. “Our site has profound experience with almost all types of vehicles that require an exhaust system”, says Cargraphic General Manager Michael Schnarr. Even large trucks or construction machinery are “fitted” by the 30+ employees on site.
With the aid of precision CNC machinery, the exhaust pipes can be precisely curved to ensure equal quality. The production depth is enormous, and even smaller machine tools are constructed on site. The developments, however, remain at Cargraphic headquarters and are thus “made in Germany”. There an experienced team does not just ensure optimum streaming conditions, but also monitors the pollution and noise regulations like a hawk. Companies that are convinced by these arguments can receive non-binding consultation from the Cargraphic General management at the automechanika.
