For the mor street-orientated driver, KW’s Variant 3+ ‘inox-line’ coilover kit greatly improves handling (as well as reducing the RS3’s tendency to understeer) without sacrificing the ride quality. KW has paid particular attention to the low-speed damping range which improves steering feel, and offers the Variant 3+ with a total of 16 levels of damping adjustment as well as height adjustment between 5-35mm (fron) and 0-25mm (rear). The compression stage of each coilover can also be independently adjusted for the more serious driver. This kit not only improves the overall handling of the RS3 Sportback, but also makes it even easier to control when driving on the limit!

For the more track-focused driver, KW Clubsport kit is available in both 2-way and 3-way adjustment. Tailored specifically for track use with racing springs and high-performance dampers, KW’s Clubsport coilovers are fine tuned on the Nürburgring for maximum performance. The Clubsport’s track-focused damper system features a separate expansion tank to allow independent adjustment of compression in both high-speed (14 levels) and low-speed (six levels) driving. KW has noticed damping compression influences the RS3’s handling greatly, with a tougher low-speed setting giving a more direct steering feel while a tougher high-speed range improves the RS3’s ability to ride over bumps and kerbs at high speed. Just like the Variant 3+, the KW Clubsport 2-way and 3-way is also height adjustable by 5-35mm (front) and 0-25mm (rear).

Despite its immense circuit ability, KW’s Clubsport coilover remains TÜV approved allowing the RS3 to be driven to and from circuits with ease. Additionally, the KW 3-way Clubsport Suspension comes supplied with preassembled aluminium uniball strut mounts which are also adjustable and which allow optimum fine-tuning for various sports tires and tracks. Already packing 250 kw (340 hp) and 450 Nm (332 lb/ft) of torque, Sportec offers a remapped ECU, which takes the 2.5 TFSI’s output to 304 kW (408 hp) and 550 Nm (406 lb/ft) – or 373 kW (500 hp)

Also furthers performance – but also melodious – which itself is controlled dampers on stainless-steel sport exhaust system. The ingenious part is that the sport exhaust system is also available in combination with the increase in output to 408HP with a Swiss Approval.

To arrive as much power on the road, Sportec offers a Bilstein coilover suspension with sportier tuning and a 20-40 mm lowering. This is adjustable both in height and in the hardness. Especially exclusive is the performance offered by Sportec Haldex unit, the all-wheel drive cars – may be giving more power to the rear axle – among others. With a simple push on the remote control here, the customer decides on the type of performance. This gives the Sportec not only power but also the flexibility to RS3 best to bring this to the tarmac.

MTM offers buyers a choice of three engine packages, the first of which includes a modified ECU that lifts output to 410HP and 550Nm (406 lb-ft). The second stage kit adds a downpipe together with a new intercooler and exhaust system that helps up power to 424HP and 560Nm (413 lb-ft).

Finally, the most extreme option is the Stage 3 kit that brings in a new turbocharger pushing output to 472HP and 600Nm (443 lb-ft).

With Stage 3, the RS3 by MTM is then good for a 0 to 100 km/h sprint time of 4.1 seconds over the series' 4.6. MTM also adds 19-inch bimoto wheels and lifts the V-max to 292 km/h (181 mph).

Total cost of the top-end package is €10,600.

In contrast to its series-production counterpart, the ABT RS3 has no cut-off. Or, as Hans-Jürgen Abt explains: “It was our engineers’ top priority that this car shows a top performance at high speeds, too. If you look at the performance chart, you can see that it is very powerful even near the limit.“ After all, for ABT the RS3 stands for high-speed magic.

The ABT RS3 has power – lots of power. But it uses its power discretely if you are driving through town or leisurely elsewhere. If, however, you want to go at full throttle, in its most powerful version it will turn into a racing car. With its POWER S technology, that is, the ABT turbocharger and a modified motor management, the five-cylinder engine, 2.5l cc, produces no less than 470 hp (346 kW), that’s more kW than the series-production’s horsepower (340 hp/250 kW). 630 Nm (torque; series-production: 450) mean a massive thrust and superiority all over. The RS3 has the same fuel consumption and CO2 emission rate as the basic version. Again, the ABT engineers’ work was perfect. But you don’t need the most powerful version to get fun. ABT POWER does also give you a lot. The 2.5 TFSI strong 420 hp (309 kW) engine’s performance is certainly enough to outrace all others and let them catch a glimpse of the 2-pipe stainless steel ABT exhaust system.

The RS3 simply needs the ABT light alloy wheels. “19 inches are perfect for this car,“ says Hans-Jürgen Abt. He likes the DR with its expressive Gun-Metal look best, but, of course, BR and CR also fit this car perfectly. And all light alloy wheels are also available in complete sets. Finally: high-performance tyres are extremely important for such a fast car. 255/30 R19 on the front axle, 225/35 R19 on the rear one. The ABT RS3 on DR wheels has a real presence then – on the road, too! It’s simply high-speed magic.

The first stage offers 410 PS (302 kW / 404 bhp) and 560 Nm (413 lb-ft). Stage 2 takes power to 425 PS (313 kW / 419 bhp) and 580 Nm (428 lb-ft). Stage 3 offers 450 PS (331 kW / 444 bhp) and 600 Nm (442 lb-ft).

Finally, for €15.950, comes stage 4, wirh 510 PS (375 kW / 503 bhp) and 680 Nm (501 lb-ft) achieved mainly by means of a larger turbocharger and a high-performance stainless-steel exhaust.

At 510 PS, the Audi RS3 does the 0 to 100 km/h sprint in just 3.5 seconds and can hit a top speed of 310 km/h (193 mph).

B&B also offers a new two-mode sport suspension (Comfort and Sport), a lowering by 20 mm, 19- or 20-inch wheels, and a high-performance brake system.

The complete Racelook aero dynamic package includes the new frontlip (suitable for the facelift modell 05-08, and also for all sportsback modells), fitted easy with glue and screws onto the series front.

The Racelook side skirts, which fits all types including facelift (not sportback) give the car a better look and connect the new line of body style from front to rear end.

On the rear JMS fits the racelook rear apron. A rear stainless steel is also available, nor only for a better sound and performance but also for the perfect style.

The stage III performance kit includes not only new MR Car design engine control software or sports exhaust allowing to uprate engine performance up to 337 hp with 450Nm of torque. It stands there as if it`s ready to attack, even more so with the ABT bodywork kit signalising extra power and sportiness: its front spoiler insert, side skirts, fender inserts as well as a rear apron have been tailor made for the cool body of the ABT AS3. Even the typical ABT 4-pipe exhaust unit blends into the sporty design perfectly. The Allgaeu company recommends mounting model AR or BR ABT Sports alloys, which are available in 18 and 19 inch, as an extravagant supplement to the optical package.

It goes without saying that the AS3 does not just look fast, but is fast too. This is because ABT POWER also brings the engines up to speed: with it the 1.4 TSI, for example, brings a brisk 160HP (118kW) to the road instead of the series-standard 125HP (92kW). With the next largest unit, the 1.8 TSI 160HP (118kW) achieves an everyday 210HP (154kW). And the largest petrol engine, the 2.0 TSI, provides 240HP (177kW) with ABT as opposed to 200HP (147kW) in the basic version. In spite of the HP boost the fuel consumption does not increase and the reliability of the engines remains the same. ABT also offers performance increases for the two-litre turbo diesel: depending on the starting power output either 170HP (125kW) or 190HP (140kW) is achieved - and both bring plenty of torque with them.

In order to utilise the well-trained "ABT horses" in the best possible way on the road, ABT Performance Springs are recommended. Thanks to the lowering of the car`s centre of gravity by around 35 millimetres the agility of the AS3 is improved, which makes itself felt especially at corners. The ABT braking unit with its disc diameter of 345 millimetres provides the best deceleration values, even in borderline areas. All components have been tuned to the AS3, making the compact ABT a real sports car, both on the inside and outside.
