The Audi S4 with ”two” suspensions

The German company HG Motorsport has 20 years of experience in the field of engine and performance tuning. Therefore the performance improved S4 version of the B16 series actually has “two” suspensions in one.

HG Motorsport was so fascinated by the sports button of the ridecontrol® variant of the B16 that the “driving pleasure button” even received a leading role in their most current video clip. Regardless of the road surface, the S4 rides along calmly on both good and bad roads. The driver can also choose a Comfort or Sport damping mode with a simple push of the button. In terms of adjustment, the BILSTEIN B16 high-end coilover suspension has a lot more to offer. The mechanic parallel adjustment of the bump and rebound stage is performed with ten clearly perceptible clicks, and offers the highest degree of individuality. Moreover, the suspension of the Audi S4 version of the B16 series can be lowered 10 to 30 millimeters on the front axle and 10 to 20 millimeters on the rear axle, even after the product has been installed. The individual components are TÜV approved (German technical inspection association) and do not require registering at a specific ride height Instead it permits registrations through the total adjustment range and allows for future changes.

For the option ridecontrol®, the electronic 2-stage adjustment builds upon the mechanical performance setup. Those who choose the additional BILSTEIN iRC® module, which includes a 3D-G acceleration sensor, save the need for the sports button in the cockpit and can manage everything via the corresponding mobile app. The app allows for even more tunability.
